Ingredients

  • 1 liter of tea (brewed with Ceylon tea)
  • 1 lemon
  • Up to 60 g (about 1/4 cup) powdered sugar
  • About 20 ice cubes

Method

  • Brew the tea
    Prepare 1 liter of tea using Ceylon tea leaves or tea bags.
  • Prepare the lemon and combine
    Thoroughly rinse the lemon under running water and cut it into thin, even slices). Place the ice cubes in a large pitcher, then add the lemon slices, powdered sugar, and hot tea. Stir well until the sugar completely dissolves.
  • Cool and serve
    Let the mixture cool, then refrigerate until thoroughly chilled. Serve in tall glasses for a refreshing drink.
